About a hour away there’s a lake called Cordell hull and it’s great fishing if you know where to go

Center Hill Lake is literally 12 mins from my house absolutely beautiful lake around the dam area its almost 200' deep but awesome smallmouth lake with some largies sprinkled in..

@MusicCityAngler I've fished it with my kayak, and from the bank, they tend to like crankbaits and spnnerbaits certain times the plopper as well a few locals have given me some tips to fishing that reservoir..

PS Look at Bassmaster's story of 9lb + smallmouth caught by David Lane( He caught several more besides 9lb, even a 7lb+ smallmouth) on Center Hill, late February & early March on a windy( 5-25 MPH) day with a Spinner bait ( Zorro Agrivator)

Center Hill ive had the best luck with a jig head a curly tail grub with chartreuse tail caught 50 and 60 a day

Yeah this was my first ever attempt lol. I went there again right before the snow and crushed them in 40-60 foot of water on bait. But my GoPro footage corrupted and lost it all.
