Always wanted to go here, during this week in June 1991 on the 15th, ITV show Ghost Train crew were here to throw a surprise birthday party for Nobby the Sheep, had that show on tape over 30 years until it got chewed up last year! Lost a lot of memories, but love to visit this place and discover the locations that were featured in the show! One day maybe!

Thank you for uploading this henryvideofan. This is the Center Parcs I remember and cherish from being a lad. Compared to the modern refurbishment post fire; the "dome" had such a nice atmosphere and flow to it. Light, airy and quiet, with a hint of luxury from the marble and tropical flowers. Whilst I still go back with my own kids now, I can't help but feel it suffers from the 21st Century disease of noise, screens and a busy colour palette. Oh, and Starbucks. What is most striking to me is the abundance of natural daylight and windows in the sports area back then. It looks relaxing even in this video! How could the f*** up the remake so bad?

The Sony CCD-TR75E.used by henryhvideofan was not a standard Vidro 8 camcorder but a Video Hi-8 unit that gives a similar quality to S-VHS - hence the near DVD rendition.

No you are wrong. It is a normal Video 8 Camera. I still have it.Hi-8 arrived some years later.
