Jill, Thanks for the great tutorial! Sometimes I have a little trouble following the printed instructions (I'm left-handed so that doesn't help), and when learning a new stitch or technique, it really helps to have a visual tutorial for the light bulb to come on! Keep em coming!

Lovely bracelet. However, as a real beginner , the camera angle needs improvement. When you start weaving the beads the camera is not always focused on your hands, so I can't always see what you're doing. Please ask your camera man to center your hands to the middle of the screen.

Hi Jill! I hope you are feeling well and on the road to a speedy recovery! I had a thought and wondered if you have thought about a modification to this pattern, actually just a different version not a modification, in the way of making an actual belted bracelet... My Father was in the belt and accessories business, and he's been gone for over 40 years now... I would love to create this bracelet with an actual type of buckle closure. What do you think?

Hi Jill, I am working on this bracelet right now and I am having trouble with the clasp. It tends to cup when I tighten after adding the last round of crystals. If I lay it flat, I see a lot of thread. Also, I think your written instructions are different from the you tube ones. The written ones say to use the size 10 delicas when adding the first round of the crystals but the you tube video says to use the smaller ones. Can you help me with this? Is the toggle supposed to cup? Thank you!

Hi Bebe, I believe she is using a size 10/0 and size 11/0 Miyuki Delica bead. The beads get bigger the smaller their number of reference so size 10/0 will be the bigger bead. Happy beading! I've been beading for 25 years and it only gets more wonderful!

OMGERSH I've been waiting not so patiently to make this! I had to wait until i could order some delica's (we're not so rich over here lately lol ) so i could get the more even looking finish AND i had to order them in the right blue colors i need for an upcoming wedding in which i am my best friends maid of honor! Her and I had a bit of a scuffle the other day (don't worry, we both only had a couple cuts and stitches so it was no biggy lol omg kidding) over this bracelet. I showed her your bracelet and told her i was going to make it for myself to wear for her wedding. She freaked out and INSISTED i make one for her to wear! I told her that was all well and good, as long as she still allowed me to wear mine too. You know how some brides feel the need to stand out in every small detail? I was worried she was going to do this. Thankfully, she sucuumbed to my death threats and is allowing me to wear one too lol. I will be making hers in whites and ivory's and such since she is the bride. Mine will be made with the malibu blue color she has set for the bridal party. I just recently started beading and ran into your video's and etc by complete accident. But you have been a Godsend! Every single stitch i know, YOU have taught me. Literally, every stinkin one. I REFUSE to go anywhere else. You are a FABULOUS instructor. You speak clearly, your voice is calming (i know i'm not the 1st person to tell you that!), and your silly as hell sometimes and it cracks me up lol. Sometimes, i can tell you want to say more in your videos but you restrain yourself somehow lol. I could not. lol. While i'm beading in my little hole in my basement, i loop your videos so they repeat even though i'm not working on what you are teaching in that video lol. You're entertaining! lol. Anyhoo....now i'm going to mozey myself on over to your website and see what other projects you have on there for sale. I will likely buy something! Thanks to you, i now have the entire bridal party demanding i make their jewelry for this damn wedding! lol. Thank God i have 8 more months! sigh.....

Hi Jill! Thank you so much for all the amazing videos! I have a question: what beads do you use? Their size difference aren't too big. I'm planning on using Miyuki delicas 8/0 and 11/0 but it seems that the size difference it's gonna be a problem… Any thoughts on that?
@bobbisbaubles741710 жыл бұрын
I believe she's using delicas in sizes 10/0 and 11/0. I don't think she replies to the theads. Maybe has too many videos, etc. going on or perhaps prefers us to purchase the kits.

on the closure circle how many beads did you use in the original design rather then the smaller one you actually showed and how may beads did you start the band with? Because you showed a smaller version it is hard to know what to start with. I love the bracelet just wish you had said how many to start each component with for the original one.
@Pattimac8710 жыл бұрын
I agree, scrappydoll, I love the bracelet, but I'm VERY frustrated that we were given very good instructions until the clasp. I've tried three different variations and I cannot get the round part of the clasp to come out as tightly as Jill's. I really don't appreciate being stranded at the very end and told to "buy the instructions on my website". I understand that she is a businessperson, but either give a complete tutorial or just sell the pattern.

Is this an optical illusion or am I missing a step? As I turn each corner I repeat the same steps from the previous row. It doesn't appear I'm getting the "line" effect between each row (or column). I'm using delica blue 11's and white 10's. The beads are zig-zagging but there doesn't appear to be any definition between the columns as the band gets longer. It's pretty, but boring. Help, please.

Why go to all the trouble to show how to make the bracelet and not give the size of beads to use
@PeahenMusic9 жыл бұрын
If you click her link in the description, it'll list what's in the kit and that'll tell you.
Nicky Price Also, when you attach the tube to the bracelet, it should be at least 8 or 9 rows down, that way when you close it, there's no arm showing through the hole between the tube and the band.
