Here is our official first look at the incredible new Mercury V-12 Verado 600 at an exclusive event held at Lake X. Beyond the incredible power, this outboard performs smoothly and silently, even considering the large workload pushing some seriously massive boats around. It's just as quiet as their V8 300hp, which is incredible and significantly more quiet than any other competing outboard we've experienced.

A former Outboard marine mechanic here, well this is amazing. Yes we would like the numbers, weight, torque, WOT fuel consumption. I was an observer in a ski race boat here, a 17’ Tennessee with an Evinrude 235, back then the 235 was the king. Then in 1983 we saw (I still have pics) of then Belgium world water ski champion Danny Bertels brought his 22’ Lotto Scan Carrier with 2 Johnson 3:5 litre V8’s rated at 500hp flywheel each for 3 races. when i left the marine business the Verado was the newest mercury on the market at i believe 250 and went to 300 hp soon. I found it hard to believe when i saw this beast, 600 hp and 12 cyl. I still love the older 200 black max motors. at 79, maybe i will be around to see a 700 hp version.
