Yup camera in that position is awesome...I can see how you manipulate the clay much better...and the squeeze and freeze helps me out !!

Like the perspective, and the sound and video quality are much better. Why do you need both the squeeze and freeze? Wouldn't the freeze part be sufficient?
@povpottery36487 жыл бұрын
Hi Jon, you are right! just the freeze will work.

Really hekofu when dealing with large amounts of clay, looks like 3lbs or so thank you. It's not really applicable to small amounts of clay 1lb or so, later in the process when they've got a bit of height but iit's wobbly. Any suggestions? I have a studio, need to make a instructional pov video for inhouse, not for youtube, could explain what tripod, camera, lighting you use?

I used a chest mounted go pro but a tripod with an extendable center column would work too.

Can you show how to recenter clay that’s been pulled? I struggle with the top of my clay wobbling and don’t always want to cut it with a needle tool.

Ah yes. I will make some new videos about this specifically! I was going to do this latter but I can do this sooner. Thanks for the suggestion, it really helps the content generation and the community.

I am also struggling with this and it's so frustrating!! When I go to trim I can't really center bc the piece wasn't centered when I was pulling!

@@emeliad522 I will make my next video on this, stay tuned!
