The ongoing human rights abuses in the Central African Republic are well documented by numerous credible international agencies in the kind of details no fly-by-night KZbinr would be able to acquire from a brief stay.

You went to the country where I was a Peace Corps Volunteer for 2 years!! Mbaike was the town where I was stationed. You spoke with Joel, who was much younger and one of our teachers at ISDR, where we learned French and Sango before being sent out to our stations. Man, you made my day!!! Thanks soooo much for this video!!

Thank you so much for the video Jayson, I was touched, almost cried. Africans should stand up and ask their leaders to set up policies to develop our countries. I was surprised and disappointed by the extreme poverty in this country while it is one of the richest countries in terms of natural resources. Almost every part of the city is way underdeveloped than our poor rurals in Rwanda, what their leaders have been doing over more than six decades.

Thanks a lot for this amazing footage .I am from Central Africa Republic but I left the country 2 years ago and I'm studying abroad. It's very hard to find documentary like this unless it's about war . living abroad I realised that many people don't know the central Africa republic ,they always mistaken when I answer this question : "WHERE ARE YOU FROM ".they think I'm from congo or I'm from south africa. Since they decided to change the name of the country that was "OUBANGUI " TO "CENTRAL AFRICA REPUBLIC " leaders ran the country like their own business. They are subjects and obey to FRANCE . What you've seen in this country is just the results of fights among politicians for their own selfish interest and don't care about population. I'm glad you showed out to the world truth and what is really going in the country.

24:17 5 Cents for 6 Mangos?? Damn!! I should import Mangos to Europe 🤑
@dncviorel4 жыл бұрын
The ones we get here in Europe are usually garbage, specially the ones coming from Central and South America. Way too early picked, garbage. However, in may-june we get decent quality mangoes from Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal and Burkina Faso for about $1.00 each. Those are the only decent mangoes I get to eat here. If you wish to start a business with mangos take me with you, I'm a fanatic of good mangos, but not sure how much we can actually import if I'm going to eat most of them. :))))))))

Thank you for making this video. I plan to visit Bangui in September 2023. It was pleasantly surprising to see you walking around and making journeys on your own. This gives me some assurance that the security situation isn’t perhaps as worrying as I had thought it would be. The scenery looks as beautiful as I imagine it will be. And the people, as throughout the whole of Africa, so incredibly friendly - if perhaps a little suspicious.

I adore Africa. I've always been intrigued by the not so visited untouched places in remote Africa. Central African Republic certainly leads them, as it's smack bang in the center of the African continent, like the name suggests. I appreciate your efforts in braving to explore this unique nation and I look forward to do the same sometime hopefully sooner. If not for the civil war, there are some beautiful natural places here like Dzangha Sanga National Park, St. Floris National Park and more. Hope peace and prosperity returns soon by God's grace to this beautiful nation !!!!!
