Poles and Hungarians are fighters while Czechs and Slovaks are more rational - so we complement each other. Surely history teachs us that the central European states to survive as an independent nations have to cooperate closly. Some say that isn't possible because the 3 smaller countries will always be afraid of Polish domination in such an alliance. I say that history teachs us another thing - when there's no independent Poland there's no independent Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.

In my perspective, western europe thinks about themselfs. That was in the past and will be in the future. I can't recall any case when they helped us - middle europe. There was some trouble from the east, but mostly because of mighty Russia as major force in that region. I have a dream! Slavic Union. Few countries from central europe, maybe south and east. We could cultivate our culture without any bad influence like radical religions, strange and unfamiliar culture from africa and middle east etc.

Slovak students dont have to take test of Czech language when they want to study on Czech universities in Czech language, the same is for Czech students that want to study in Slovakia - this is the result of interstate and government understanding. It's just the cooperation of Czech and Slovak education.

Hi! :) In Czech Republic and Slovakia, You can use Euros. In Poland is złoty (zł=PLN). In Hungary is forint (HUF).

@Gabor P I am from CZE, and if Slovakia had crowns you still could pay with Euro as other last us 3 countries. It was normaly on shops, restaurants. We accepted and accept Euro normaly. But only we CZE, POL, HUN didnt want accepted Euro as SVK for currency. We want OUR currceny czech crowns, polish zloty, hungarien forint.
