December 9th, 2023, brings us to the Anthracite region once again for more steam action. This time around it's with the famed CNJ #113. The #113 is am 0-6-0 switcher built by ALCo in 1923 for switching the mass amount of coal loads in the mountains. 100 years later she's alive and well pulling short excursions up and down the Minersville branch of the Reading Blue Mountain and Northern railroad. These trips were the anual Christmas trains out of Minersville, going as far South of Schkulykill Haven. Lets follow the 113 as she and her crew put on an incredible show pulling the happy families to see the big man in red. Enjoy!
