Christmastime is never complete without a visit with Santa to present him with your Christmas list, and what better venue is there to do this than on a train? During the first weekend of December, the Reading & Northern railroad sponsored steam-powered excursions over their Minersville branch, powered by Central Railroad of New Jersey 0-6-0 #113. The locomotive is maintained by a dogged group of volunteers who restored her to operation in 2012, and she pulls seasonal excursions on the Minersville branch each year.
