Zero caffeine (coffee, coke, etc) Zero alcohol Min 8 hours of sleep ( sleep is the most important factor) Eat lots of Vitamin C fruits and vegs. And keep cool, no stress Hopefully your symptoms will be reduced to 50/50 in 2-3 weeks.

I've had this eye disease since 2015. It wont go away. But I will say I've been dealing with massive amounts of stress the whole time . My mothers illness and her loss really took a toll on me. Toss in a few bad relationships with that also and it was a recipe for this eye disease.

@@katek.3339 I've had it since 2015. I've learned to tolerate it. But everything is swirly and warped. I dont see straight lines. They're all warped. And the eye doctors is so expensive. I spent thousands of dollars with no results. I stopped going to the doctor about it

@@baraajameel8564 There were times in my life when I felt depressed as well. Try to stay focused on your goals and exercise if you're not doing that already. It seems too simple to work, but when I started to hit the gym I felt better physically and mentally.

Is naproxen really useful for csr treatment? I take epleron tablet 50 mg daily to reduce retinal swelling

I started taking Vitamin K and in three weeks it is gone. This was after 4 1/2 months. I hadn’t seen any improvement in two months. I tried aspirin, msm and naproxen, and didn’t notice any improvement, each Dr visit showed it getting worse. I had stopped all caffeine even though it wasn’t recommended by my first dr. Watching videos of active leakage had me wondering about what I was eating that was thinning my blood. When I looked into that I realized it would be hard to change. So I started taking a Vitamin K supplement. No change at one week, I know this because I couldn’t aim with a scope. And then yesterday at my dr’s appt I had 20/20 vision and the pocket is closed. I still have some lingering damage that I hope will heal in time. I have also been taking a lutein & zeaxanthin supplement that I think will help. I truly think that nutrition is a huge factor in this and it’s like many circulatory system disorders. I’m going to be cutting back on meat consumption and increasing my veggies. I’m a woman by the way and I don’t know what triggered my CSR.

I am 33 years old and diagnosed with this condition on my right eye. I can say that I was put through immense stress at my job past 4 months. Black spot is slowly going. But vision is extremely distorted and very dark, as if someone switched off a light. Can anyone tell how long it will take to recover? Anything I should avoid other than stress? Thanks

Thank you very much for this helpful video. I’ve had csr on and off for a few years. Just at the beginning of this year my eyes were very much healed and everything was forgotten about, until my uncle passed away 😩 then I had a reoccurrence. More annoying than anything. I’ve read in places that aspirin and ibuprofen had been shown to help drain the fluid in some. I’ve also heard good things about naproxen and finasteride too. I wouldn’t mind trying medication first as Iam extremely scared at the thought of getting zapped with a laser 🤣 any tips and advice would be much appreciated on coping and managing this annoying infliction

Hello . My symptoms are similar to yours I tilt all the straight lines. I am 50 years old and I did not use cortison I'm very scared to see the skewed lines I tilt all the straight and parallel lines Doctors has given me an Eplerenone tablet. Do you only see parallel lines and straight lines?

I resolved my chronic central serous retinopathy problem with naproxen (quebec) aleve (canada, usa), 1x500mg every 12 hours. For me it takes me 4 to 5 days and the spots leave. Not forget to protect your stomach with pentoprazole.

There are instances where someone has some systemic disease that is then treated and the central serous chorioretinopathy resolves. It is hard to know if that is coincidence. However, illnesses put stress on the body, and the response to stress may cause central serous or at least make one more likely to have that condition.
