I've really been enjoying Kevin's commentary this season (on CC and other channels). He's really grown and is a great communicator. I love how much respect he gives his fellow competitors. You can tell he loves the game and the passion is alive, not just his job.

Bringing this up for discussion: 18:20 KJUSA places foot behind disc, marks the lie with mini, takes disc off ground and tosses the disc 3 inches in front of his mini, all without moving his foot. Isn't this a legal shot?

802.01 in the rulebook states "A throw is the propulsion and release of a disc in order to change its position. Each throw that is made as a competitive attempt to change the lie is counted." Since Kevin is just moving his disc after marking his lie, he isn't trying to gain any advantage moving that disc, he's fine. I'm sure someone else can clarify.

Hi Brian and Kevin, 'actually', 'potentially', and 'definitely', in that order, are your commentary crutches. They're like extra stokes on any given hole. You don't need them. 'Here' and 'there' too. They're all hard to shake but even worse to listen to repeatedly misused. (Yeah, I know, the mute key's an option, but so is upping your commentary game based on cogent input. Think long term.
