The fact that CP SD40-2s could be seen hauling intermodals in Pennsylvania just 12 years ago does not compute in my brain

Yes, 259's conductor was on the ground (next to us) giving a roll-by and shouted up at the engineer of 2-552.

Just one addition to this list is the 932/933 (12/13T) trains to and from Allentown via RBMN at Dupont and Binghamton on the Sunbury Sub. With numerous extra's and the road locals, the line averages a good 10-14 trains a day. About a 50/50 mix b/w CP and NS traffic North of Taylor, PA. South of Taylor its a bit less busy, more like 6 trains a day on average.

Daily CP: 258 / 259. Non-daily CP: 158 / 159 (tri-weekly) 552 / 553 (mid-week road locals), D11 (weekday local), 550 (night time road local), and 614 / 615 (once weekly oil train). Daily NS (CP trains to/from NS territory with NS power-NS symbol in parenthesis): 458 / 459 (11R/12R), 930 / 931 (30T / 31T). I will send you a message regarding the specific details.

In case you wanted to know on I believe through Conklin they start working for 259 to leave around five I think this changed though now it's 4:30pm then 38T arrives from Buffalo,NY around 2:30pm so that's what's start all the operations for 259 I believe that is the time they leace now.

Shot at 15:50 is absolutely incredible, Eric you should think about selling a DVD with shots along this line, I would buy it!

4 to 6 per day. Traffic has significantly dwindled since the posting of this video. The majority of the trains you will see in daylight have Norfolk Southern locomotives, which is perhaps a sign of the future ownership of the line...

Absolutely, I make as many trips as I can to this fragile piece of track. It may not be under CP ownership much longer. It will be a few years, but a D&H Northeast DVD will be in the works for CP operations on former D&H lines from Sunbury, PA to the Canadian Border, including the Sunbury, Freight, Canadian, and Colonie Subdivisions So far, about half the objectives are met.

In the third clip at Hopbottom, PA, did the engineer shout "Hey! Hows it going?" ? Thats what it sounded like.

Ya know, I've really gotta time a visit to this area right when the standard cabs come out to play, because you are hitting the luck VERY WELL here from your recent uploads from this area. 258 had a ton of good shots, I said it on Austin MacDougall's take of this day and I'll say it again on yours, I can't get enough of the Kingsley Viaduct shot. It's like Tunkhannock but in mysterious isolation from a distance, not to mention the insane lighting that occurs there, on my to-do list for sure!

This is a fantastic video! I really dig the shots you can get on this line, plus the older power is great. I really want to get out to this line, but I need to find a tour guide first haha. Too little trains and too much territory!
