I tried these they worked well for the trailer. I was however disappointed that they weren't stainless. At that price I thought they would be and they looked stainless in the picture. So here in the Rust Belt I think they will eventually rot out
@EmbarkWithMark4 жыл бұрын
Glad to hear they work well for your application. So far, they are still working well on my jeep. I was kind of thinking the same. The only thing that might save them is that they have a heavy galvanized coating. But, one day it might be necessary to clean and paint them.

They do! I would call. Their in house selection is a lot bigger than the website leads to believe. At least that’s what it seams like.

Well, it's not a new thing... I bought a new 1968 Chevelle SS396 (in 1968) and I bought/installed a set of wheel balancers that looked and functioned exactly like this product. They were made to look just like this. They were constructed of a stiff, black plastic, and they also had the metal BB's in the unit. They worked well, in 1968, so I'm not surprised to hear that they work well, now (only 50+ years later)!

Good to know they worked back than and now today! Thank you for the history lesson.

They do not, however the reports from big rig users are years. I think the only thing that would ruin them is if the rusted through.

Well? How are they working? Did you remove the weights from the wheels? I'm running 255/85/16 KM2 's and they balance like they're square!!
@EmbarkWithMark5 жыл бұрын
I have about 3,000 miles on these already and they are working amazingly well. Funny thing, I didn't have to remove the weights from the wheels, some how I have self removing weights! If you are having balancing issues, I highly recommend these. The best thing about these are that once they are installed, they never have to be touched again. Regardless of tire choice. I hope you enjoyed the video, thank you for the question.
@itruck13 жыл бұрын
Always pre balance your tires and wheels. The centramatics will only correct so much so if you pre balance they still have room to balance the rest of your wheel end.
@thisisyourcaptainspeaking22594 ай бұрын
I used beads and removed the weights. The balance with just weights was horrible and I'm sure they were in the wrong locations and too large.

@@jimmyvalhalla1939 I recommend calling them directly. They have awesome customer support and they will most likely have something that fits your application. Technically the balancers I am running are for trailers, but they work great. The guys at Centramatic recommend that over the common jeep size they have due to the inner diameter of my wheels. I've had zero problems and they work great.

TASSIE 4X4 These balancers are $199.99us for a set of 4. They are a bit pricy, but so far I think they are worth it. Plus I don’t have to pay to have any tires balanced, or take them to a shop. The tires are wearing very very well so far. But time will tell.

you talk like big truck tires are smaller than your tires that you think are huge on your Jeep. Lol. Anyway, Centramatics balancers are fantastic. I had no doubt that you would be pleased.

It’s not really about the size. More that those 18 wheels have a lot heavier tires. It’s a few years later and I’m very happy with them.

What do you mean; ...... did their job but, they have one huge flaw that is every time a tire needs to be changed out the beads need to be replaced. .... ????

Balancing beads that are poured inside your tire need to be replaced when you change tires. These balancing rings do not have that problem.

@@EmbarkWithMark balancing beads inside the tire? I've never heard of this, nor these balancers you installed
@EmbarkWithMark2 жыл бұрын
@@dickfitzwelliner2807 Ah! Yes, tire balancing beads are a big deal in the offroad world. Specifically when you have larger hard to balance tires. The beads work very well, however, not as well as the balancing rings. I’m a huge fan of the balancing rings and install them on most of my vehicles, if I can.
