can you just clarify how to connect the 3 wires on the proximity switch please
@martyscncgarage5275 Жыл бұрын
It is dependent on the switch you have. There is a Centroid Schematic for connecting them. Also make sure you got NPN not PNP. Hit the Centroid Users Forum for more help. You can search for Proximity

Love the videos Marty. Considering upgrading my old Bridgeport Boss w/ M40/CNC7 to Acorn w/ stepper motors.
@martyscncgarage52753 жыл бұрын
As I mentioned on the forum, All in One DC would be better. Price out the motors and drives if you can find them in NEMA 42 frame. I think that's what you have.

Hello Marty I saw an older video of yours. Bridgeport Torq cut that you hooked up single phase power to I recently purchased one and was hoping that you would guide me on how I would be able to hook mine up single phase

Marty Does centroid allow for multiple homes you can choose?
@martyscncgarage5275 Жыл бұрын
Homing a machine sets the machine datum. You can create multiple work coordinates. What are you trying to accomplish?

Hey Marty, this was very helpful. Just a quick question: Did you enter the software travel limtis based on a measure or did CNC12 do that itself based on the homing?
@martyscncgarage5275 Жыл бұрын
No you have to tell CNC12 what the travel limits are of your machine.

Hi Joe, thanks for the concern. I've been knee deep in my other passion, building hot rods... Working on a 1950 Chevy COE right now. Will be my car hauler

@@martyscncgarage5275 Well-I am very glad to hear that you are doing okay and that you are spending your time on other passions! If you build a hot rod like you build a CNC machine - Look out! I have a Brother TC-215 with a 10 tool ATC that I'd like to convert to G-code.. I'm going to have to re-watch a bunch of your videos.
