Ever notice the top of the game it is spelled Pleiades and on the screen it is spelled Pleiads.

I just came across a good deal on one but don't have any music to it any ideas why that might be?

It sounds just like the symptoms described by this collector - www.keithsarcade.com/pleiades.html - he determined it was a bootleg board. When he got an original board set from eBay that resolved the issue.
