I love how all the KZbin videos out there show docking at an open dock with no obstacles and of course on the driver side. That is easy as it gets. I would love to see tips on docking in a tighter scenario on the passenger side. To me that takes more skill

Fluctuation water levels are definitely something to consider when your are pulling your boat up to a dock.

Do not take tips from this video. Turning your boat to the right to back up does nothing. Prop in reverse thrust the water away from the rudder. Bouey’s are markers that float in the water. Fenders hang from the boat to keep the boat away from the dock. If there is wind coming from your port side that approach crashes you into the dock!

I would imagine it's a stern drive, so steering in reverse is very effective, as there is no rudder.

This is an inboard boat, not a stern drive. Yes, there is a rudder.
