No. The dragons are purely cosmetic and have no advantages in pvp. Only the dragon rider changes the combat and hp.

You must have been playing it for a long time. Awesome flying and that observation. I always lose the enemy and he kills me quickly. I'm playing the game on PC, does that have any effect? Maybe worse controls?

I'm not too sure how PC movement works but maybe their settings are different from yours. I'd just recommend to continue practicing tailing enemies and play with the settings and see what fits you best

WG Beserk or Normal Beserk changes your flames a different color. WG Blue, Normal, Red. Ice breath would be cool to tho
