It's a double elimination bracket. Zinoto started in loser's bracket. When he beat anti, they both were now in loser's bracket, but anti won and eliminated Zinoto. Anti lost one set this tournament, everyone else lost two.

It removed overpowere things that could've completely turned Sm4sh into another brawl, such as Prepatch Diddy (an op character who not only lacks obvious flaws but is also boring to watch/brain dead), shield stun changes (tl;dr shield pressure exists), Bayonetta (was banned and split the community in half) and things that would've completely ruined the game, such as Link's jab 1 0-death, Rosalina jank in 3DS Days, and many more stuff that could've killed Sm4sh That being said, there's been enough patches as it is (as someone who mains someone who needs buffs, G&W). Let the meta develop, an if anything, make Cloud a little harder to play (not worse, just harder.) and we'll be good And Sova you're a Cloud main you can't disagree with my opinion on Cloud Kappa

I don't really have problems with Cloud. However, he gets a speed and an attack boost from Limit. It is annoying cause of the fact he can pretty run away and charge it as much as the player wants. He is already has good mobility without it. I mean you can make him fuck up in neutral and gimp him but it isn't like he is a push over in the neutral. The best way to beat him is to face him head on and just learn his frame data. He doesn't have much variety in his kit. Just don'tplay scared and you'll be okay. The range of his sword often intimidates players. That's what players have to understand about him.

Rosa's dodges have quick start up and low end lag and it's ridiculousness hard to catcher her. It's much easier to catch cloud, especially if you are a pro player and catch on to habits quickly.

I love smash 4 but is it just me that tourneys should start using 3stocks? I know 2stocks was better at launch becsuse nobody knew how to combo, but now there are so many combos and characters that kill quick that I think 3stocks would be better, if 3stocks never happens tho, tournaments should atleast start bo5 at top 32, evo isnt having best of 5 until loser, winner and grand finals, thats pretty ridiculous if you ask me

that wasn't why 2 stocks were a thing. It was because prior to the patch adding shield stun and actually allowing you to apply pressure, it was a super slow game. It was far more defensive than it should have been. Not to say the game isn't defensive now, but that patch was a huge change. problem is that in majors 3 stocks can still take a long time if a lot of people show up. A lot of the top tier characters you see in grands are always faster characters that usually make fast matches. The rest of the cast in pools aren't as fast. That one extra stock makes a big difference.

And how bad that is as a concept requires you to constantly be on guard and consistently outplay your opponent, just to damage them, but add that on with his low mobility, shitty frame data, and no ways to approach, and you have the workings of a very low character.

Danchey Kang You obviously aren't a good Falco main. A lot of people don't know how to use Falco properly, won't put in the time to understand him and underestimate him because he isn't represented well in competitive play. Not even Keitaro uses Falco properly. I think Osiris is now looking for a secondary cause he hasn't been doing too well lately. Falco isn't a gimmicky character who you can just pick up and play. He literally reflects a players skill. I feel like every person who doesn't know how to play a character mentions bait and punish. Falco's frame data is actually really decent. His run speed is average. His movement just requires you to be more precise as opposed to someone like Mario. Falco isn't a loose or clumsy character which is part of why people don't like him. His weight is weird but he is a fast faller. You can just DI downward to not get combo'd as hard when on the ground at low to early mid percents. His neutral is pretty solid. The thing about Falco is that you don't really need to approach a good amount of characters. You need to approach characters like Cloud, Samus and Mario. Character's that can actually do harm to your neutral if you don't stay at mid-range. Staying mid range and being able weave in and out is his objective. Basically, a boxing character who happens to have a projectile, a reflector and good offstage presence. He can switch up between defensive and offensive play fluently if the player is skilled enough to realize when he/she is supposed to. He is very balanced. He isn't restricted to playing one type of way due to his move set granting him power and versatility. He can actually camp out at certain times due to him having a laser and a reflector. If you know how to space you can use side B to approach, gain momentum, gain stage control and chase down an opponent on/offstage. People don't know that because side B is committal. His F-Tilt, U-Tilt and D-Smash are good for Oos. They all come out pretty fast. I don't think D-Tilt is a kill move regularly but I'm pretty sure its bad for floaty/ lightweight opponents. His jab is meh imo. You can do mix ups with it but if you land that first hit it's usually best to follow through with the rest of the jab. On a light character like Mewtwo for example, around 100 or 110% you can jab once and follow up with Up Smash. They can DI back but because of the hit stun it doesn't really matter. That may work on some floaty characters as well. Up Smash hits twice and surprisingly it covers all around him. Jab can also pressure foes on ledge. If they shield the first hit that means they'll roll inward. You can turn around and F-Tilt them at that moment. If they get hit Falco can fall off ledge and either Nair or Fair. He isn't really a grab dependent character but his grabs can lead to a lot of different follow ups. They require to read DI pretty much all of the time but you'll usually get follow ups up to 70% or even 80%. Back throw can kill around 120% but Up Throw is around 165%. He can start off combo's with short hop U-Air and sometimes D-Tilt. His mobility is actually better on the ground than it is in the air. His landing options aren't that great if you're on a stage like Smashville or FD. Staying low to the ground is key but you can commit to aerial follow ups up to about 70% or 80%. Really it depends the character you're facing. Like I said before, Falco is a boxing character. So what you want to focus on is his neutral. People say he has a hard time killing. He doesn't have guarantee's at high percent but if you stay mid range and be patient it's not really that hard take off stocks against most characters. He can kill characters early if they're struggling to land, fast fallers, they're combo food, moves are telegraphed or if they have exploitable recovery. Falco's recovery can be exploited just like Fox's but it's not bad like how it was in Brawl or Melee. I personally haven't gotten gimped in a really long time. His Offstage game is good but Falco's tend to not go offstage for whatever reason. You can cutoff recoveries with Fair and Dair but you have to be cautious. You can laser into Fair offstage. You may not always get the laser but if you space right you'll still get the Fair. Falco with rage is pretty dangerous because the grab combo's are even better. Overall, Falco is pretty solid. Falco's pressure game is pretty much based on the neutral. He has a lot of moves that can string together well if the player knows what they're doing. His cons are being a fast faller with iffy landing options and a exploitable recovery. He is VERY rewarding when you play the neutral properly which is why people should actually put him higher in tiers. I wish I had more time to go to more tournaments instead of just tell people about him cause I'm actually really good with the character.

+Ninjanugets123 I initially ignored your comment because I wasn't sure if you tested it out. I've messed around with it myself and have been able to get out of a lot of blocked dtilts, or even more insultingly I just do it again because of a dropped shield and I end up getting my kill confirm anyway. With proper spacing and proper percentage, I'm very adamant that it's a safe option. It's not like, 2 frame flawless, but there's a reason it's commonly used, you know?

Ok.So no matter how terrible i find something i should just say its 2016 and go on with it.... Nintendo has gone bad( my personal opinion), that doesnt mean i dont like new games in general. Its not about limited view,is about bad titles, only zelda is keeping it real, mario cart and smash are getting worse with every new title, sad but true. Jimmy Jazz Lololol I have every system from the big three including handhelds. I understand the gaming medium quite well. If you think Mario Kart 8 or Smash WiiU is bad, then it has to be a personal opinion. Gross sales, critical and user reception, and a technical and overall gameplay increase in nearly every aspect paints a clear picture that the games you mentioned are not bad. Solid 8.5-9. Zelda will almost always be a high 9 because of its level of detail and integrity as a franchise. I made this comment too long already, but man I dislike uneducated people acting like they have a good scoop of something AND thinking that whoever they are talking to must be a kid when they can't even spell Mario Kart right!
