First, the idea of a marketplace is very good, because in cities it is tough to find an offline store, until and unless it's a festive season. But coming to pandit ji's, I think it will be very hard to work because- 1) In India, Families already have a known priest, who has done pujas for them for years, As priest know the rituals of the family very well. 2)Coming to the finding of priests in top-tier cities, Here is something you need to know, According to the reports, India has 53 temples per one lakh population, As a ballpark number let us assume each Nagar/colony has 5 temples, and each temple has priests, who do the puja for a particular time. Contacting or connecting with priests is very easy. Also Coming to the marketplace thing, people don't feel exhausted or lazy for buying things/puja samagri, Because it brings a festive mood while shopping for these things. I think this model isn't a Product Market Fit yet. Open for Feedback.

Building business and judging business are two different things. Although most of business persons are good at judging business, that doesn't necessarily means everyone can be. And regarding your point that a business person from any other industry cannot judge these new age digital businesses, my friend, all of those VC's network that master's union has are building new age startups and they understand these digital platform based startups. You would know this if you have watched that Samarpana pitch from Startup weekend. These three young man's, I think, are focusing on opposing each other's rather than judging the business. I would have thought that finding a priest would be easy because you could go to a nearby temple and request the Panditji there to perform the pooja/havan. Even if that particular priest is busy on the required day, he could easily guide you to another Panditji. Is that not the case? I am not sure about the actual reality, but based on my interaction with my friends and my timited knowledge, it does not appear to be a big problem to be able to find someone to perform a ritual. However, I think this app definitely has potential to perform well abroad where there is substantial Indian diaspora/NRIs but temples are far and few in between, so its not so easy to find a Panditji there
