That was their argument that they could out bid everyone because of the $1.5 billion judgment, but it's phony money, it doesn't exist, that's why the judge blocked the sale because The Onion doesn't have the money on hand to make the highest bid or anywhere near the highest bid and the judge will probably rule that a new auction needs to be held.

Even apart from other things Alex Jones has exposed such as the footage of Bohemian Grove back in 2000, the fact alone that they sued him for 1 billion dollars tells you everything you need to know about the political dynamic at play here. They're sending a message essentially. That your morals, the laws that stem from them and everything you hold dear doesn't matter in the face of their control of both "money" and public perception.
