I can just imagine what a mess those belts make as far as grinding swatch around the shop goes. They definitely do a good quick job. In my shop, I cut as close as I can to the lines on the bandsaw and then grind to save the mess. It does take longer but I spend way less time cleaning up the shop. I have a vacuum system on my wish list as things I must buy but it seems stuff keeps getting put ahead of it. Nice belt grinder.

no, belt slipping on the pulleys, i need to tighten it. Its a 2HP 220V motor, i have never bogged it

Keep that support rest as close to the belt as possible! Having a gap to make belt changes easy is not worth the convenience.. especially if your gonna wear gloves.. I've had material yanked out of my hands into that gap a few times.... not fun
