These chain lubes are not worth the cost in my opinion, a brand new sprocket chain is cheap. Its more sensible to replace it than maintaining with costly lubes, I'll stick to engine oil as lube.

That is a ridiculously stupid take, I am sorry but it is. Well maintained chain not only transfers power to the wheel more effectively but reduces fuel consumption as well. Plus a well maintained chain decreases load on transmission and engine. The logic of your argument would make washing clothes redundant or may be you don't wash but rest of world does.

Exactly no sense in buying expensive sprays to lube chains, better to save money and replace the chain (unless you own superbike , of course ) , KTM official tells you to clean chains with diesel and use 90no. Gear oil or some good quality lube spray.

i have a pulsar 150 with chain cover and i think for this type of application gear oil is best, its cheap and lasts for 600-700 km

Rolon white lube is also good but mainly found two issues with it. 1. Very small applicator nozzle, you end up spraying it more on tyre and rims rather on chain. 2. It accumulates dust debris and become fine grinding paste after few hundred kms 😅. Removal is a task too, normal chain cleaners can't remove it easily, have to remove it with diesel

One reminder i have been using the diesel for cleaning the chain as its better and more Reliable than the chain cleaner ..but my chain pad (rubber pads which sits in the middle of the chain and swing arm ) they were worn out just after 6000km .i dnt know its for me only or the diesel is opposite to rubber components ..be carefull if you use diesel for cleaning chain

My biggest gripe with dry chain lubes especially by Silkolene and Putoline is their cost and usage. They are super sticky and once applied and dried they won't splash but that also makes them a bit hard to clean. There application is also a hassle as the mist tends to stick every place it comes in contact with, tyre, swing arm etc. As someone who is particular about chain maintenance, every 500 kms and another coat if riding in rain. I dont see point of spending so much on these expensive lubes, I stick to my usual ones.

I use this tech-chain lube... however, removing the wax remains from the chain is very difficult... what chain cleaner do you suggest to pair with this lube? I do apply motul C1 cleaner and brush it off and wipe with cloth at home...
