People underestimate the whole dynamic of hand building, but it requires so much effort. I tried to make an ongi pot with groggy clay, and my back was hurting the whole time. My arms were so weak after that

Beautiful work and process! ❤️ I do wish this channek did a better job at featuring the finished artwork properly, it's a huge defect of this series, often there's only some close up or very fast pan of a single piecenof the finshed artwork, it's very strange and irritating. And nothing the artist can control.

Many people make this comment. Does it not occur that you're watching this on a device where you can see photographs of the work in seconds? For whatever reason, this series focuses only on process - and since it is trivial to then look at the work, it doesn't much matter.

@@gnarbeljo8980 It's "clearly" a flaw? You seem to discount the idea that it is a choice. You not agreeing with a choice doesn't make it a flaw. The time you spend whinging about it is greater than just looking at the finished work. Suit yourself

@@zweigackroyd7301 I'm in my mid fifties. Spent a life in cultural communications. My entire family is involved in filmmaking, music, fine arts from ceramics to conceptual performance and painting and 3 are actors. Another runs art foundation. I don't wield critique lightly and don't mess around. I do watch alot of reportage and interviews with various artists, ceramic work is an area of mine. If I broadcast something you're welcome to share your imput on how I can improve communications to you. That's not the case here and this discussion isn't important. You wanted attention, got it, now your time is up. Goodbye.

@@gnarbeljo8980 I'm delighted you have credentialed yourself anonymously and for your own well-being. It must make you feel better somehow. I'd also like to see more of the pieces - so I spent about three seconds and looked at them, because I understand these are process videos that the makers for reasons I don't understand want to limit to that. For all I know, the artists wanted it this way - but the "problem" is easy to solve.
