Mister Hashimoto you have style and so much talent... Thank you very much for your wonderful videos and the time you put in it. The french subtitles are hilarious by the way, but at the same time they give an insight into the japanese language which is most interesting.

It was nice to understand you for a bit with the subtitles. I have been subscribed to you for a while but never new what you were saying. When you put the rim on the lid the subtitles said this is the only mountain. Was this a statement about the authenticity of the pot, or a mistranslation, I thought you were talking about it's authenticity. It was nice to hear your thoughts while you were making.
@ShinobuHashimoto4 жыл бұрын
The word "only mountain" is what automatic translation did. What I mean is that this is the only difficult point of the whole process.

@@ShinobuHashimoto oh, interesting, thank you very much.

@@ShinobuHashimoto I used the automatic translator but the technology needs to improve. Artificial intelligence will need to learn (or be taught) how to interpret the idiomatic phrases of a language based on a person's activity or their region in a country. It still tries to interpret the individual words which can be confusing. I changed from translating to English to translating to French a few times to compare how good or how bad the computer translated from Japanese. Regarding the meaning for "only mountain", I understand the meaning now. Climbing a mountain is the most difficult part of a hike. Thank you for making this very interesting video.

Hello, is there a material with which you can make pottery or ceramics that does not need to be fired at high temperature? I wish I could make decorations for my shrimp aquarium myself but I only have an electric kitchen oven and I don't think that is enough to "bake" pottery or other items like the ones you make. , do you have a lead to suggest to me?
@Lyddiebits3 жыл бұрын
You are absolutely correct, clay needs to be fired in a kiln, we fire our final pieces at 2232° Fahrenheit. You can check out Raku kiln pottery, those aren't meant for eating on tho, they are decor. I wonder tho, if you got air dry clay and once it is dry, could you spray a coating over it to make it watertight?
@JoshuaRilliet3 жыл бұрын
@@Lyddiebits I had not thought of this solution of spraying a product to make it waterproof, I will think about this and there I am thinking of epoxy resin for example but I do not know that it is really feasible or compatible, that being said I'm going to look in that direction since I can't cook them. Thank you.

French automatic subtitles are not coherent so I guess for tutos at least it would better to insert subtitles in Japanese so youtube can adapt to all langages. For example it reads "it's difficult to sleep clay" or "let's be together " "8 cats are now soft" .....etc so you see it's not easy
