You need to click and surge at the same time mate

It's the opposite, you need to orientation yourself diagonally, surge and immediately click further down the path.

Is it impossible to get another platypus if you let them all go originally? Ik tooth creature but id have to do like 4 quests just to get to ape atoll

No you just catch another one with lavender and a box trap after the quest.

Yes, you can use a TP like the underworld grimoire to leave, then grouping system to reset the dungeon and tp again. It's a bit annoying to continually position but it becomes natural eventually. EDIT: Apparently you can also world hop

I stand exactly where you do and can never surge as far. I end up 1 tile short and pull aggro on 3 of the witches.

@@YTP-x3r Try spam clicking the tile when you cast surge. I was stopping short too but now that I'm spam clicking, it works. Also, make sure you are clicking far enough up the alley

wow thats awesome. Do you do the group teleport thing or do you go back to the dungeon with other methods. I find the grouping system so glitchy and clunky.

@@cheifzero I run back.. I usually go to fort Forinthry for resources, and then run back to the entrance which only takes about 25 seconds..

How worth is it to use magic with earth spells (weakness) instead of Necromancy?

Probably worth it. Imo just do whatever style you want to train. That's why I was using necro. Next time I go I'll probably be maging.

@@CyrussRS Okay I have got this method working, thanks for this! Before I was killing the mages which could be fatal and took more time. I did try it with Necromancy, but I was getting the same 30% accuracy as you. With Earth Spells and the Guthix Staff special attack spam (lowers the defence by quite a lot and does not seem to reset like bosses usually do) I was getting 70% accuracy near the end of my kill. So pretty fast even with 70 magic

Any idea why when I call my platypus in the safespot 2/3 of the time he wont come and I get 'destination unreachable' in my chatbox? PS: Appreciate the guide!

I don't know for sure, but possibly it's getting stuck somewhere before you even get to the Cerberus room? So maybe call it before you do the stun&surge bit so you know for sure it's close enough to you.

Why can’t you safe spot from the doorway?

You do half as much damage if you do that. This method lets you do full damage so it's much faster, especially at a low level where you have terrible accuracy to begin with.

clicking to walk to the wall spot, or surging then clicking, or surging while clicking into wall, never works. always go fkin frontal and 90% chance to get hit. dont know if its the shit 20aus ping or just shit timing on the bar/clicks.(just walkin in and clickin the platypus call does it without the xtra clicks and fkin about.)

How do you get 120k exp with only getting 60k tokens? The actual DG experience from Cere isn't much. I thought the exp from tokens was 1:1?

its 5k tokens per kill and 10k slayer xp per kill so 12 kills = 120k slayer xp and 60k tokens?

120k slayer xp , not dg xp. IMO spending tokens on XP is also incredibly stupid. DG is really fast and there's so many useful rewards to spend tokens on, especially this early on an account.
