saw Monolink for the first time in Hamburg on the Reeperbahn, where he is from and where he was still performing with a mask. Could immediately see him becoming big with his unique rough voice, EDM production- and song-writings skills. A couple of years later I moved to Chile. One day, on a random fruit-market in Santiago, I suddenly heard a song of his banging through the speakers. At this point, I knew he'd made it.

As far as I know, there is a use of the term EDM where you just literally mean electronic dance music (music that involves synthesizers and is danceable) instead of meaning the David Guetta-style hardcore-compressed, progressive house.
