​@Abigail H probably plain breast strips, frozen or not wouldn't matter. Anything else is probably already breaded and cooked. Oil tends to gain all burnt bits and stuff and it affects the taste of the food, if they had regularly changed or the oil or like op said bake it in a convection oven aka air "frying" they would've gotten more of the taste of the cereal. ITd all be bad other than the cinnamon toast crunch bc of brunch, and the frosted flakes as I've used plain cornflakes for chicken and chicken strips and it fuckin rocks

Rice Krispies might work well for this. Not a lot of sugar, rice flour is a common thing for fried chicken, fairly airy like panko too. Also try the Chex and Life lines of cereal.

Rice Krispies do work, I've tried it. The obvious reason these cereals didn't work is because they're chemically and candy sweet. Corn flakes and Rice Krispies are neutral and add good crunch (but panko does better)

Great video this idea is really disgustingly neat. I think they all tasted the same because they all were cooked in the same oil so the flavors just all mixed. Additionally Adding flour in addition to cereal can help keep the coating on the chicken. Take the frosted flakes or Capt crunch and mix with panko bread crumbs serve it on waffles and maple syrup. Keep up the great work Justin!
