Orko I feel is very under-appreciated in general by a good chunk of the MOTU fandom. Especially the Filmation version. I've always had a soft spot for the lil guy tho.

I loved orko as a kid, and I still love him today. I remember when they started advertising the filmation cartoon, and they had clips of orko. I was IMMEDIATELY captivated! Great video. Thanks for not turning this into the typical bitch-fest about sidekick characters ruining cartoons that most people love to make. ❤️❤️❤️

Hi James, Really nicely done video. I was not a fan of the annoying comic relief characters which were so prevalent back in the 80's, but having watched He-Man and the masters of the universe as an adult I see that Orko actually has a fair amount of value. This is especially when he is not portrayed like a child. I love the part you referenced when Orko pretends to be He-Man and He-Man's later response to it. Still not one of my favourite characters in the series but I can see his value.

The Star Seed is perhaps the most powerful item in the MOTU, it grants anything the holder wants, and it tempts anyone holding it, even He-Man to use that power for selfish purposes. Did I say anyone, except Orko, who is not only able to hold it but hide it on his person and not be the least bit tempted.

It was also never explained in the She-Ra series as to how, where, when, and why he found out about the secret that Adora is Se-Ra. It is just presumed that whatever magical secrets he knew that Adam/He-man had, he too knew about the latter's twin sister.
