These dudes NEVER fucking disappoint. It's a bloody honor to hail from the same state as these guys.

Probably Cthulhu album is the best work of C. Castings; atmospheric, theatrical, deepest like the ocean, magical and darkest ever! When i travel to the beach, i know which album i'll play on my trip...

those different vocals styles - especially those in the beginning which somehow sound creepy and story-telling together with the haunting atmosphere make me listen to it the 3rd time

makes me think of bal-sagoth in a good way oh man i miss bal-sagoth one of the best, if not the best Lovecraftian band ever to exist.
@TheGreatGodPan10 жыл бұрын
There is the Krull project that looks interesting. Musica Cthulhiana is really cool Lovecraftian music if you're into dark ambient (or "dark ambient doom jazz" as he calls it I think)

***** Problem is Bal Sagoth finished of the story they had. There was a plan for comic books, but seems it died. Would be good to see them back but i doubt Byron will start another universe and new story.

I fucking love this band

I love this band so much and the atmosphere on this album is far more involving and darker than their other stuff; and that's really saying alot considering how dark this band sounds in general. But there is only one thing that prevents this album from being my favorite; the wierd Mayhem esque zombie sounding vocals. Sure it gives an other worldly lovecraftian feel to it, but they sound pretty bad. I loved their strange chanting vocals in prior albums MUCH more though, like Barbaric and Salem.

New Ceremonial Castings album? O_o
@_vinterthorn9 жыл бұрын
Not to happen anytime soon, I guess. Have a look at their fb page. It says they're in hiatus for the foreseeable future. :-/
@michaelthompson5039 жыл бұрын
Thomas Wolf Sadly we are not in a hiatus my friend. Ceremonial Castings was ended. Jake and Nick have ceased to work together for the time being. If they do come back, I foresee it happening years from now, and if/when they do they'll probably pick up Bloodhammer and boot me from the live show. (Which I'd be down for, I respect the shit out of Matt.)

It's all good. That's why I was confused. They would've either gotten Matt back, or they would have had to let me know seeing as how I was Matt's replacement until they ended.

If the vocals where more consistent it would suck considerably less.
