Ceremony held for retiring Commissioner of Police(10.1.2011)

A Guard of Honour Ceremony was held today to farewell retiring Commissioner of Police Tang King-shing. Mr Tang inspected the parade during the ceremony at Police Headquarters. He joined the force in 1976 as a Probationary Inspector. Deputy Commissioner of Police Tsang Wai-hung will succeed Mr Tang as commissioner on January 11, 2011. ( j.mp/gkdqYd )

It’s gone now, the Police force has opted to adopt mainland-style and others are sadly, expected to follow suit
