A couple of years ago I played this for my nephew and his Cariad. They thought at first that it was just a disco track. When I showed them the lyrics they were stunned. The Cariad has a music degree and does music / storytelling / performance as her work. She teaches from babies & mothers groups and performs for any age. This is a brilliant song and music and it’s ideal to help teach about the importance of climate change. Considering when it was released it was well ahead of its time. Long may it be available for future generations to hear.

I'm not sure if this is a "genre thing". A don't like disco in general. IMO, it's primarily for dancing and it's often very boring for listening. However, Cerrone's compositions are amazing and not boring at all. There are so many details in them...

Je me souviens de l'album quand il est rentré à la maison en 1978 . Les années 70 étaient extraordinaires sur le plan musical. On baignait dans Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, les Doors, David Bowie, Queen, puis arrive le disco, puis le reggae avec Bob Marley, puis Supertramp, et tellement d'autres .
