This is so beautiful. There are other tutorials but none of them are accurate. I have black hair so the only way I ever try this is I get a blonde wig and a lot of extra hair, but really cool. It would make a great evening hairdo.

Oh my goodness, I love this tutorial even more than the normal tutorials because it is not only breathtaking but also goes over some techniques I'd never considered... Like piles of Kanekalon being layered... A trick I REALLY should have known! I love it love it love it.

Traci Davis Actually, Kanekalon is super light, so it's not bad at all :). Every time I practiced this hairstyle I wore it for another 2 or 3 hours just to make sure it held up and everything and it never bothered me :)

that's beautiful. the only thing that sticks out is the root hair is much darker than the added hair--and you can't see the balayage for it to make sense. I would add some spray fibers in a color matching the added hair, to the roots, for a better blend.

Try *not* prying the pins open before you put them in. Just take a bit from the braid you're trying to secure (like a few strands), and a bit from the hair next to the scalp - only as much as the "closed" pin will hold - and try that.
