SEBI does not recognise CFP. Clearing Investment Advisor module with registration is copulsory. So no use of CFP except a fancy certificate.

@@Awesome-kd1gh CA, CFA are the best options if one wants to go into equity analysis, investment banking, research. If you want to be in sales, an individual advisory then SEBI Investment Advisor and NISM & CRISIL Certified Wealth Manager are good.
