Got one from my cousin for 200 , with the extended coverage warranty still active for another 7 more months! Just dropped it off at UPS, they're sending me a refurbished one because my cousin had said that the mouse pad didn't work. Not bad for 200!

This video is most interesting and insightful. Though I'm currently not considering purchasing a unit, it's good to see what Microsoft is up to and to seize the moment where they produce a laptop that is competent for me, based on how far they've gone since the first surface.

Too bad the surface 1 has one of the worst front cameras of the whole surface line up. De pro’s get a full HD Skype camera, as the surface 1 only does 720p. They fixed the problem with the surface 2. Still the camera isn’t bad tho.

you can get a surface laptop 2 black i5, 8gb ram, 256gb ssd for around $730 on amazon renewed program rn, which has a quad core processor usable for heavier work like programming. I wouldnt reccomend buying the first gen surface laptop anymore unless you have another computer to do heavy tasks

In Canada there is no refurbished surface 2 and the refurbished 1 is 799 so no point there
