@@kkhendricks73 Yes-ish. The standard helps teams think about security clearly, and talk and plan using a common language. Each of your company’s techs is dealing with tools from several vendors, and they all have their own buzzwords, and their own specific checklists for hardening and updating. So, it’s easy for each part of the organization to get very zoomed in on a small niche, especially the firewall specialists. Then compliance comes through talking to people, asking questions about how data flows, and shakes up incorrect assumptions, like one good firewall covers everything, or that backing up and securing a few key databases is enough.
