I grew up in PA Furnace, hunting all around the State College to Seven Stars area. Still a lot of good habitat there, although development pressure breaks my heart. I loved our pristine farm land

Keep it up guys. I grew up hunting the 80's and early 90's in Jefferson county. All the Dad's are gone and camps are gone. And people don't want to be bothered anymore. Hang in to tradition. Great video!!

Loved the video , I’d love to hunt with a group like that, all of the guys we used to drive with can’t walk like they used to so now we are limited to what we can drive, by the way I have the cervicide decal proudly displayed on my truck and my buggy at camp . DEER SLAYER FOR LIFE🤘!!!!

O’ for the days when the Remington 760 gamemaster ( I saw one in the video) was the go to PA deer rifle. Showing my age lol

I had an old Remington 740 (semi-auto) that I used in thick woods. I shot open sights and could consistently bring down deer moving and a few running. I was on the Rifle and Pistol Team in the Marine Corps in the 70's and we used open sights (peep sights) on our M14's too.

@@Cervicide1 yes sir,we had a dairy farm,store bought condiments and flour and stuff like that but that's it. We raised our own vegetables beef deer hunted turkey Hunted fishing you name it to put food on the table that's what we did

I hunt Sullivan County. We butcher our own deer in the kitchen. Would never cut them up in the field like Y'all did. Waste way to much meat that way. Other than that it was a very enjoyable video.

Many deer are cut in the field but I agree with your statement the bone meat use for burgers is wasted. I think for the small amount of meat wasted is just not worth dragging out a big g buck from miles back into country
