Housed in this solid and robust hardwood cabinet you will find an astonishing 18" driver with a tremendous power output and an exceptional low frequency response. The legendary Cerwin Vega design is reflected in this 18 inch woofer. It offers maximum bass response with extreme power handling.
The sub features built in amplification for a fully integrated solution with an authoritative 700 watts of continuous output power and genuine 1400 watts peak. A unique and striking cast aluminium grille doubles as a heat-sink to minimise power compression and optimising driver performance. The Cerwin Vega CVA 118 also has a top mounted 35mm pole socket which can accommodate a satellite speaker when running a full range setup. This high-performance active sub employs xlr and 1/4" jack connectors. Master/slave output connections allow for the daisy-chaining of multiple units. A versatile on board parametric equaliser allows for the adjustment of the gain, frequency, and q for perfecting your bass performance according you your sound system or surroundings.
In a nutshell, this subwoofer boasts immense power, a huge frequency response and all of this safely inside a durable exterior enclosure.
