The Vega was designed for enclosures alot smaller & tuned alot lower..Those qbomb boxes are tuned high the vega couldn't perform at its best because of that box..Trust me they tune low for a reason, if u didn't feel it it's definitely because of that box. S/O to Sundown though quality & performance always on point 👌🏾

Yeah My Vega Pro 15 Hated Being In A 40hz Box. When I Put It In A 30hz It Was Insane. It’s A lot Lower Level Than This Stroker Though

I have a 2005 model stroker 122 and it was rated for 2k rms. The stroker pro of the same year was rated 2500rms..

Also i forgot how i came across your channel. But i really liked the 10 inch skar vs 10 inch kicker q sub video. I was gonna buy a 10 inch skar for my truck. Keep up the great and quality content my man. And the "red part" you liked on the skar in the video, its called a spider. And skars spiders are awesome. Cerwin vega has been in the audio industry for over 60 years. The cerwin vega stroker series set the record for over 160db back in the day. Granted today's subs have higher db's but you can't go wrong with CV on clarity and performance.

The biggest difference between these to drivers are the FS ! High FS drivers are peaky and are good for SPL high FS drivers are punchy and mid bass aggressive witch its in there nature while low FS drivers have wider bandwidth with good infrasonic playback and tend to play flatter across the bandwidth. these type of drivers are good for SQL.

But their cookie cutter subs, if they don't own the patent for their basket design, don't want them. Why didn't you do a real compairison with a stroker that was made by cerwin vega before they filed for bankruptcy, but I'm not buying a skar audio sub, and my friend pull's up with some audio pipe's, and their exactly the same just rebadged. I remember around 2012 I took a friend with me to buy a new amp, I find a 4 channel MTX TC400.4 for $400, and he says that's a dollar a watt, nobody pays that anymore, for that money you can get a 1,500 watt hifonics, until I hooked that 400 watt MTX Up with it two 30amp fuses and a max power rating of 1200watts to two 12in fosgate punch HE and it blew his brutes away on two v Max's with the red surround. I said all this to say you pay for quality if I was to take my ppi a.600.2 or my fosgate 150hd off the wall, I promise you they'll work like they did in 94 and sound just as good. When skar and those fake ass Brazilian fire starter's ( taramp, tampino, top strong ) get 30yo I want to see how many survived

Cerwin Vega stroker ruled the spl world in the 90's ! It was one awesome subwoofer. Very few subs could play as loud and still maintain excellent sound quality doing it. The stroker in my opion was and still is the best all around subwoofer EVER made . The only downside was the price.

Hardly! CV has been around for years in home audio and in 2007 started their focus on car audio. Do not underestimate these subs. I have the home audio with 4 12s and it’s a absolute monster.
