A lot of people underestimate dog's, to me I think that some people think oh it's just a dog all it does it bark. Dog's are very intelligent creature's believe it or not. It boil's down to being excited your dog is excited, being afraid to walk the dog the dog can sense this and becomes afraid. Relax everyone and the dog will relax. Hi Cesar, I have watched many of your videos and think you are great person and dog trainer. Your methods really work. I have always thought that dogs have mental problems similar to how people have mental problems and that sometimes they need a professional. You are not just a dog trainer your a dog therapist. You don't have speech communication to use and have learned to read the dog. This video had my eyes tearing. Good people having trouble with there dog attacking them. The troubled mom and the little girl touched my heart. Hope all goes well with this family in the future. My wife and I have both always had dogs as children and have had several since we married in 1975. We have gotten most of our dogs from the SPCA. Our current dog Sadie is an Australian Cattle dog 16 years old. When we got her at 6 months old, we were told that she does not like children. She is very loving to me but has continued to not like children. We have two grandsons and put her up when they come over. The sad part of having a dog is that they don't live as long as we do.

time after time, we see a dog who is terrified because it has not been given guidance or taught it's place in the "pack" of the family. without discipline, a dog will feel untethered, will not respect its owner, and because of that, will be frightened, as it does not know it's place. it is remarkable to me that NO ONE has even mentioned the similarity with young children. A child without limits is an insecure child. I don't understand why so many people think that's a mean thing to say. Love, compassion, understanding......all are important.....but a young child not knowing what is expected of them, who is never corrected, who is not given limits, , will feel unmoored, just as all these dogs we've seen have been. why do so many parents seem oblivious to that?

It seems like ALL those dogs which needs Cesar visit them, are taken away WAYYY to early from the mother. I see ppls on youtube, getting their puppies with 5/6 weeks which is litteraly abusive. Here where I live ( not in America) breeders / even private persons which had a litter - give them away between 10 and 12 weeks. Smaller dogs 10 weeks and the big breeds 12 weeks so they are proper socialized by the mother and siblings. They have way lesser issues. Ofc its the owners which ruin the dogs but thats what I noticed which adds up to it.

I met a dog just like Misty at my old job and none of my coworkers liked her except for like this one Christian lady who was really big on rescuing. Very aggressive towards people and hid from other dogs and always in high alert. With time and patiences (also no making direct eye contact, no touching tho eventually as she got more comfortable I let her sniff my hand, talking very little & if I did it was in a low tone because she doesn’t like loud sounds) we became besties and she would get super excited to see me & would want me to cuddle with her. Also she became more relaxed around the dogs as well along with that. Hope my bestie is being treated right!

CALM AND RELAXED AND THE LEADER IN EVERY SITUATION BECAUSE OF CONFIDENCE.. NEVER UNSURE AND NEVER SCARED.. in control of every situation.. and I mean in every APSECT OF THEIR LIVES. Humans choose who we are and how we behave and everyone can change the way we are.. and that’s the beauty of being human,, we can choose to be happy and confident.. and completely change the way we were.. IF WE WANT TO…and live in reality instead of living in a made up reality we created.. seeing things that don’t exist like these people.. I never make a fuss when I come home and I don’t give affection or even acknowledge my dogs until they are calm and sensible.. dogs don’t get offended or think like humans.. they are happy I am home and that’s ENOUGH.. they don’t get upset because I don’t say hello or excite them.. and I wish people stopped thinking dogs have the same emotions we have because they don’t.. it’s ridiculous making a fuss when we come home and creates unstable dogs.. overly excited because humans relate excitement with love but that’s wrong.. dogs live in the moment so stop putting human emotions onto dogs..

Despite caring about our dogs and all the other animals on our farm, if an animal ever aggressively lashes out at my children, that will be its last act. I'll put it down myself. Honestly, I find it very infuriating when parents allow animals to terrorize their children. As far as I'm concerned, that is child abuse.
