Looks like there are advantages to be had in aerodynamics at that speed - drafting, and flat floor under cart. You've already got all the bravery needed for the speed!

Those people are so far ahead because you dont get low .. tuck your head down. Make youselves small . I keep telling you this for a few years in videos . Each year you still look like a parachute sitting tall. You and codriver need to make yourselves small ... aerodynamic.

Correct. Doubling the speed from 45 to 90 quadruples the drag force. Just tucking the head down at 90kmh will have a big effect.

I keep seeing these kinda comments about aerodynamics and this and that... dude relax!! these are not the olympics. They probably have their reasons for going how they go. Imagine they are like those teams at the NBA that don't worry about winning the championship, but only to stay there and feel the thing you know! and they have been there for 50 years or more. @@АнтонАнтонов-о7ю Это понятно, что это дорога общего пользования. В детстве занимался спортом "Натурбан" (санный спорт), при постоянных тренировках на "домашней" трассе можно было добиться идеальное прохождение поворотов на максимальной скорости. На соревнованиях на других трассах тренировки минимальные, и поэтому иногда на поворотах перестраховываешься (по ошибке перетормаживаешь), соответственно скорость теряешь. Вот и на видео создается ощущение, что тренировки на этой трассе просто отсутствуют, и первый приезжает тот, у кого яйца "железнее". 😊😊😊
