Harvey F. Sonza 12-HUMSS2. I learned that Human Rights means being able to enjoy life from birth till death. It is a human right since it is born that no other person can get. It is also appropriate that if you yourself know you have it you should also know other people have it so they should be respected and honored. As someone who has human rights and is safe, this does not mean that you can just do everything you want to do. We should also think about whether it is right and pleasing to the eyes and feelings of other people. Being able to live the life we have while not hurting other people’s feelings is about protecting the dignity we have.

Francisco, Mariel M. 12HUMSS-6 Valuable Things I've learned during the discussion: • Human rights refers to basic rights and freedom that every person should have. They're applied regardless where you come from, what you believe and how you choose to live your life. But, it can be restricted especially when you violate laws. • I also learned about the timeline of human rights from ancient history, 3rd century B.C., 13th century, 18th century, 19th century, early 20th century and since 1984.

Base sa aking pananaw, sa maikling pananalita, kung minsan, naaabuso ng isang tao ang kanyang karapatan/rights/freewill as an individual that resides in a specific country.

Pacaldo, Klutzy Anne D. 12-HUMSS 1 I've learned from this lecture is the Human rights refers to the freedom and rights that every person on the earth has. Human rights are granted from birth to death, and no one should be refused them. The eighteenth century is all about independence. People might have their own independence and rights to do what they wanted with some limitations during this time. Having freedom does not imply that you can do whatever you want. Individuals must be accountable because their activities have the potential to hurt others.

Saluta, Jasrine S. 12 HUMSS 1 In lesson 7 I learn about the definition, concept, and timeline of human rights. A human rights is a freedom and rights that belong to every individual on this planet. Human rights are given from birth until death, no one should live without human rights. But those criminals who break the law for their own good would experience some human rights restrictions that go through the process. They are still protected by human rights based on the Philippines’ Criminal Code and UN’s Standard Minimum Rules for the Treatment of Prisoners. Humans have also had timelines, it continues to improve as day passes by. From the 3rd Century BC, they have had an equality, in which all individuals apply the idea that men and women are equal. In the 13th Century, the concept of people's representation was built. The 18th Century is all about having freedom. This was the time where people can have their own independence and rights to do what they want with some restrictions. Having freedom doesn't mean doing what you want. Individuals should be responsible because there are actions that can harm other people. The 19th Century Era is the Socio-economic Rights and Abolition of Slavery. In this time people fights for this rights as a human being, there are discrimination to those poor people and rich citizen think there are the God of the City. In the 20th Century, individuals believed in the idea of Equal rights for men and women. Until now, individuals still believe that men are greater than women, but there is a lot of study that proves that men and women can excel in their own field. Since 1948 there has been a proclamation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Which have a 30 section that tackle the freedom and rights of an individual no matter where they are, who they are, where they live, and how they want to live their life.

It doesn't matter where you come from, what you believe, or how you live. Human rights cannot be taken away, but they can be restricted if you disobey the law or have a direct interest. Panza, Chastity B. 12 HUMSS 1 In the week 7 lecture video, I learned about human rights, its meaning, and history. I learned that human rights are the fundamental rights and privileges that every individual, specifically a human being, has from birth until death. Everyone has rights. That seems to be, if you have a right, others must have one as well. However, if you violate the law or harm national security, you can face restrictions.

Ramacula, Kurt Henri Go. 12-Humss3 What I learned in video learning was the rights of each individual and their freedom to live their own lives and methods. Our rights, if we think of them as something free, that do not have to be bought, do not have to be demanded, do not have to beg others to enjoy and above all, they should never be denied. It is important that you fight for your right because our right is equal to a person's life, it should be enjoyed by a citizen of society as a member of it and above all the rights will save and help the person to live in peace and meaningful. Human rights cannot be taken away from anyone and we all have the individual right and dignity to do what we want.

Every human being is entitled to certain rights regardless of their gender, class, faith, religion, nation, geography, or economic condition. These are supposedly moral precepts that serve as examples of acceptable human conduct. These rights are legitimate everywhere and at all times since they are protected by law. Basic human rights include the right to life, the right to a fair trial, the right to an effective remedy from a court of competent jurisdiction, the right to liberty and personal security, the right to property ownership, the right to an education, the right to peaceful assembly and association, the right to marriage and family life, the right to one's nationality and the freedom to change it, the right to free speech, the right to an environment free from discrimination, the right to an education, the right to own property, the right to a certain standard of living, as well as freedom from invasions of one's privacy, family, home, and correspondence. Although having protected by several laws, human rights are occasionally violated by people, organizations, and even the state. For instance, during interrogations, the authority frequently violates the right against torture. Similarly, it is claimed that freedom from slavery is a fundamental human right. Slavery and the slave trade are still practiced unlawfully, nonetheless. To track violations of human rights, many institutions have been established. These are also under the observation of governments and some non-governmental groups. Human rights and their validity may result in limitations for certain people due to obligations that are consistent with those rights. This human rights trait highlights the demand for a moral explanation. Therefore, discussing the issue of how human rights can be justified is a statement of appreciation for diversity and uniqueness. For the Men and Women Equality, People are still treated differently based on their gender in today's social environment, regardless of whether they are qualified for the job or not. Additionally, because they were passed down from earlier generations, the prevalent prejudices still exist, which has led to new movements for each sex. Men were viewed as being more powerful or possessing more rights than women prior to the 1920s, but after that time, women made strides toward achieving equal rights. Men and women have to deal with a variety of equal rights challenges, and it is crucial to educate society about these issues since they reveal our humanity and establish moral principles regarding equality, gender roles, and developed and developing countries. However, equal treatment of men and women was first introduced to New Zealand in the early 20th century. Eventually, it became even more in numerous countries. Proclaims the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as the common standard for success for all peoples and all nations, with the intention that each person and every instrument of society, keeping this Declaration constantly in mind, strive to promote respect for these rights and freedoms through teaching and education and by taking progressive national and international steps to ensure their universal and effective recognition and observance, both among the peoples of territories that lay under their control. I learned that Human rights are more than just ideals, though. Human rights protect in law and establish the guidelines for how the state should be to treat the citizens. As a result, human rights can be a powerful resource for enabling us to accomplish social justice, establishing our acts in the law as opposed to just beliefs, which can be extended or made optional, especially in difficult times or circumstances.

I also acknowledged that no one else can take it because you have owned it ever since birth. Others can't have it, although it can be disabled if you do anything unlawful.
