On my Coastal journey of South India, I was riding from Vavarai/Marthandam towards Ernakulam. On the way, I visited some beautiful places, none of which was planned. One of those places was the Azhimala Temple (near Vizhinjam) which has a huge Shiva statue. The 58ft Shiva Statue is very intricate, and I believe it is one of the most detailed statues I've seen. It's definitely worth visiting if you happen to be traveling on the West Coast of India.
