CeX Pay CRAZY Money For These DVD's!!

In this week's CeX trade in episode, Ed has a small stack of DVD's and Bluray's to take down to CeX to get their in store credit value, whilst also visiting numerous locations to see if the pot can be added to including charity shops, a mid week boot sale, the local games store and of course CeX to trade in all of the finds!
We find a myriad of games; including a variety of boxed Mega Drive games, rare PS1 games, loose Nintendo carts and much more!

Great video as always 😎 I often make more money at CEX on DVDs and Blu-ray than games from charity shops. You missed Total Recall which gets £5 credit. Don’t always go for the box sets, look for cult movies and horror too 👍🏻

Yeah i often get good deals for DVD’s from charity shops and trade them in. Picked 2 up yesterday for £1 each and CeX give you £7 each for them. They sell them for £15 😂 It’s good that most people think DVD’s are worthless and try and basically get rid of them but some are good value. Last week i found a DVD that CeX were selling for £30! And it’s just a singular one, not a boxset. Crazy!

Hi Ed, just wondering if you tried to trade in the Ghostbuster's Switch games that were download codes? I tried to do this at my local CeX and they said they couldn't take them, just wondered if it's shop specific?

No mate I wouldn't attempt it as I know they don't take em. I was just explaining how much they sell it for in the video physically, not that they buy it

Hi ed hope your doing well! Great video! Great pick ups aswell! Nice trade in value for some! I thought my mum was saying is the gameboy catridge headphones😂😂but she was looking at something on the shelf next to her😂I thought she was looking at the tv 😂. I've been hitting the jackpot lately in the charity shops today i found the most high end of trade in value games all in one shop! It made up for the other day when I just got to the shop a second late as this man bought all the really good games! I also randomly found a vintage massive pokemon topps card hidden in a pokemon manga bookset I got from the charity shop so that made that even more worth it!😂 Take care

I have the Superman set but sadly my son when he was a toddler ripped the slip cover to pieces I've traded in a fair few blu rays and DVDs recently still have a boat load to go through and sort out what's worth trading.

The entire Sonic Advance Trilogy are great sonic games, each plays differently to the other...number 2 is based a lot on speed.

@EdHunts yeah I watch all the UK retro collectors and yall get waaaaaay better deals and trade-in prices. To bad CEX failed over here because GameStop gives you basically nothing.

@neetcollector I've actually spoken to a long time employee about why CeX failed in the states and simply it was a logistical nightmare; sending packages in between stores, which is commonplace, was too expensive coast to coast. I actually went to the one in Philly back in 2010, wish I filmed it

I had talespin on the MD as a kid....I wouldn't call it a great platformer...although I was surprised Capcom published it. Now Street Racer is the one, best version is the Saturn Version, but the MD version comes a good 2nd...the SNES version is a little slow and cropped for my liking. Global Gladiators was alright. Wrestle War was an alright game, but the Arcade one will always be the best.
