on the last boss, I thought you had to do over like... 8% damage to get the 3 star card but you got one anyway only doing 5%. How come some times you get no card? Also I heard if you do 10% damage you get a 4 star card

Glitch. The timer on the right (mission) has to be greater or equal to the timer left for the game to end in order to get the card.
