Can we avail no free emergency deferral in case of change in exam center by prometric. The date and time is same but the center is shifted by 30 miles, can we apply for no cost deferral?

I have to take the exam in November 2023 but I want to pay to take my exam on November 2024. Since the window is not open what should I do? take the exam and the deferred it in February 2024 so I can take it again in November 2024?

hello sir, I am currently registered for CFA L1 Aug 22 attempt. Since I wanted to apply for paid deferral I had called CFA Institutes helpline number and they guided me that I was eligible to defer to Nov 22 attempt. (Registration and scheduling deadlines apply.) Nov attempt scheduling closes on 9th august 2022. The table displayed at cfa website also shows that aug candidates can defer to Nov. Can u please confirm and guide me here. Thanks.

Why to pay deferral fees when you can create new account and pay registration fee with enrollment fees? why not just forfeit the exam?
