Thanks Fabian, this is super helpful. I just have one question - does it allow highlighting on case scenario? It doesn't work for me, the highlight logo only appear on the question.
@FabianMoa3 жыл бұрын
I could not highlight the case scenario as well in the exam tutorial and Prometric did not state clearly if the case scenario can be highlighted. Have to wait until exam day to find out. All the best for your exam prep!

Hi Fabian it was really quite informative video.However I have a question whether during exam the paper will be divided into sections like FR,Equity,Portfolio management etc.... coz if I want to change my sequence of attempting the questions how will I do that?
@FabianMoa2 жыл бұрын
The topics are in random sequence, and you can see the topic at the top of each case. Just scroll around until you find the topic you want to attempt

Hi, for level 3 AM exam, do they show how many minutes should be given to each question? I didn't see that in the tutorial
@FabianMoa2 жыл бұрын
Nope
@supayugiohplaya3 жыл бұрын
When I click on the question mark button to view the tutorial, it clears all my answers. So is there a risk that during the exam you could lose all of your work by viewing the instructions again?
@FabianMoa3 жыл бұрын
I tried the same thing clicking the question mark button and then click Continue the Test, but my answers were not cleared. No problem on my end

Hi, I remember reading somewhere that candidates should not use asterisk (*) for multiplication sign? Not sure if this is applicable?
@FabianMoa2 жыл бұрын
It's fine. You can show your workings as 20% * 400000 Or 20%(400000) Or 20% x 400000 (but dont use this if you have x as a variable in the equation)
@FabianMoa2 жыл бұрын
Hi Quang, got feedback from my students. Do not use * for multiply. Just use x

How do you write bullet points? I can't find any bullet points
@FabianMoa2 жыл бұрын
You can type "-" or "*" then press space. The dash or asterisk will turn into a bullet point

For me, I think it might be inconvenient when it comes to calculation since I need to look at the question and try to find the relevant info in case study/exhibits then write down formula and input data on the paper, use calculator and select the best answer. Any ways to shorten the process and make it more efficient?
@FabianMoa3 жыл бұрын
Good point! Use the highlight function to keep track of the inputs of the formula and try to minimize writing on paper and instead focus more on using the financial calculator, and the STO and RCL functions to do your calculation.

For level 2, it will still only be multiple options choice only, right? I was terrified by seeing calculation & essay there..

Only multiple choice questions

Hi, Fabian. I am a level 3 candidate. When I click the case scenario button, the vignette shows up over the question screen but does not show up at the left side of the screen. I cannot see the question and the vignette side by side. Will you please tell me what I need to do. August 1, 2021
@FabianMoa3 жыл бұрын
Hi Kay D, What you can try: 1) Refresh your browser and try again 2) Zoom out until the case scenario pops back in and splits the screen in half 3) Browse to other questions like Q3, Q4, Q5. I sometimes find Q2 buggy Hope it works

Hi, Fabian. Thank you for your prompt reply! It worked when I zoomed out and chose a full screen, although the letters of the vignette are very small.

I see. Not sure about the size of your monitor. Mine is 24 inches and is not too difficult to read.

Are we still allowed to take the calculator (Texas BA II) in the exam? I am asking this because since the prometric already provides a calculator which is embedded in the answer page.

@@FabianMoa Thanks for the quick reply. May I add another? I prefer doing the workings on a paper, so will I be provided with blank sheet for workings or calculations (Rough work)? Thanks a lot!

@@syedadil7858 They will provide either paper (with pen) or plastic sheet (with eraseable marker), varies among centres.
