Dr. Mark This is really helpful. For those of us who were originally planning to take L2 in Dec of this year and now looking to take it in May 21, you mentioned doing book 3 and book6 of L3 to prep for Nov L3 exam next year. I am just curious ... at what point do you recommend studying for that L3 content? now? in between L2 content like Jan? I find that the main challenge with CFA is remembering this stuff. So the review strategy was very helpful!

At any time - its called a taper strategy - so I would tape it in with your current L2 reviews.

I need some advice from someone who has completed level 2: I would like to write level 2 in August 2021 but I have a CA(SA) board exam in April meaning that I will only be able to dedicate 4.5 months to study for it. Is this a sufficient amount of time? I only had 3 weeks to do level 1 and I managed to pass that but I've heard that level 2 is a lot tougher than level 1. Appreciate any feedback/ advice!

Am now taking L2 in May 21 because the covid cases are spiralling out of control now where I live and I see no chance of sitting L2 in Dec. Is it possible to study some L3 sections concurrently, so I can still sit L3 in Dec 21?

Yes - I do recommend such a tapering strategy.

I am not sure with what you mean by how many q-banks. You should have enough formative assessment questions that will allow you to master the content. Our q-bank at L2 has 2500 questions.

Mark, can you please clarify. If I registered for L2 in June 2020, and postponed to December and then want to shift exam to May, will the program be the same? I know that switching cost on your site is very small, but will there be any major changes in material? Completely lost now, prepared for June, prepared one more time for December... so much time spent on repetition.

Btw, i want to stress that probably bcs of ur lecture that i built a quite solid foundation of level 1 , i dont quite feel level2 is that challenging which i thought it was. ..anyway, ur lecture offers us much much more than a CFA cert, which is just more like a added value. Certainty. I would rather know for sure that I am writing in May versus uncertain if I am writing in December. I can plan for certainty.

Mark Meldrum I guess. There’s probably not enough time to master level 2 before dec anyways, but I’m going to stay registered and take it regardless. If I fail, I’ll just pay again and pass in May.
