No offence ... I had the same thought that Clearing CFA would be valuable Never been so wrong before The Recruiters don't even consider Academic papers ( even from IIMs) They need skills .... If you have them you get the job ... If you don't bye.... Just type CFA L3 or L2 in LinkedIn and see soo many ( I literally mean it ) people have done it and have no jobs. And SSI centre conducting SFM lectures are not cooperating at all. New batch is going to be launched this 25th of April. And only 4 days a week they are going to keep lectures. Hi Nimisha. It is possible to do both CA and Actuaries together. However, it is not the best of combinations. Reason being they are not complementing programs. If you complete your actuaries program, you will be hired for your qualification as an actuary and not CA. So it makes more sense to do stand alone Actuaries and complete it or pursue a complementing program like CFA or FRM with CA. And ofcourse only graduation degree will not land me on a high paying job which I'm aiming for. @@nishasinghla1984 I guess you'll not do the same mistake again. You said mugging up things is a weakness of yours and FM ECO interests you. Firstly, as people say CFA is wholly a practical based line in which mugging up things will not work. And secondly, you like Finance and economics which is CFA's core in general. Or you can go for an MBA top tier colleges to end up on a high paying job. But honestly! I would suggest you to go for CFA and then MBA if you want like if you want to pursue both. Just a general suggestion! No specific logic behind it.
