Numpark Sribanditmongkol
Montri Tramote
改編:Numpark Sribanditmongkol
其他歌曲包括Assawaleela(馬舞),Maruekararueng(鹿舞),Bunterngkasorn(水牛舞)和Kunchornkasem(大象舞)。
《Mayura Pirom 》
Conductor:Yat Ping Chan
Gaohu: Numpark Sribanditmongko
Composed by Montri Tramote
Arranged by Numpark Sribanditmongkol
Performed at Melbourne Chao Feng Chinese Orchestra’s 36th Anniversary Concert: “What a Beautiful World” (Thailand)
Mayura Pirom (Peacock Dance) is one of the five songs in Animal Dance Suite, which was composed by Montri Tramote in 1962. The other songs in the set include Assawaleela (Horse dance), Maruekararueng (Deer dance), Bunterngkasorn (Buffalo dance), and Kunchornkasem (Elephant dance). The melody and rhythm represent the gesture of a beautiful peacock in the picturesque forest. In the Chinese orchestral version, the arranger applies principle concepts of Thai Traditional music to the arrangement such as Na tub song mai (2 beats Drum rhythm), Look Lor-Look kud (Imitative), Plair tum nong (Heterophony), and combine them with Western and Chinese orchestration whilst still retaining the original structure and emotion.
