man, this month has been tough for me with miles, barely hit 5,000 miles, and thats counting the dh to home.. the storm that shut me down in SD for 6 days really set me back. Im honestly hoping this job interview I have during my hometime ends with an offer, cant keep at cfi and not being able to pay my bills due to lack of miles/loads sorry for you loss bud.

That sucks. I started driving last year with a mega. This month will be a year. I work regional western 11. From my first month solo I have always at least hit 10k and I'm home every other weekend, my choice, I can do weekly home but I make more this way and the every weekend was more of a reset than days off. Usually the every other weekend turns into 3 full days off. Usually just over 11k. But I've been lucky to stay out of that shitty weather in the north. Im looking at companies that pay you to shut down in bad weather like Marten. Some place with guaranty pay and pay for layovers and shut downs. I just hear the stories of others not getting miles. I'm only at .54 cpm but I still get miles and gross over 5k a month, so ive been sitting a bit and just keep learning until its time to jump ship

@@AM0908 Yeah, I was out for 3 months at a time before taking hometimes... and every month my miles were just going lower and lower until I got the new job and reported in that this was my last load. They cried a lil asking how they could keep me and it became apparent they couldnt lol

I'd kind of be worried about not getting miles/loads with CFI. I don't know about all the companies obviously but the ones I know are hurting for drivers and losing loads because they don't have enough people to haul them.
